# DealCloud

> Let Jamie look up companies, contacts, and deals in DealCloud, and log meetings as interactions

## Set up for yourself

Needs the Team or Enterprise plan. You don't connect DealCloud yourself: Jamie support connects it once for your whole workspace. We call this the **support connection**. It works in everyone's Ask Jamie, Sidekick, briefings, and own workflows.

For the support connection, Jamie signs in as a DealCloud API user, an account that your team creates only for Jamie.

**1. In DealCloud**

1. Create an API user for Jamie. Its user group needs API access. See [DealCloud's guide to API keys](https://api.docs.dealcloud.com/docs/apikeys)
2. On the API user's API key page, copy the site URL, client ID, and API key

**2. In Jamie**

1. Email the site URL, client ID, and API key to [support@meetjamie.ai](mailto:support@meetjamie.ai). [**Settings → Integrations → DealCloud**](https://app.meetjamie.ai/settings/integrations/dealcloud) lists what to send
2. After Jamie support connects DealCloud, open **DealCloud** in [**Settings → Agent → Connectors**](https://app.meetjamie.ai/settings/agent#connectors)
3. Check that its details show **Workspace connection configured by Jamie support and used by the workspace.**
4. Check that **Enabled in chats and workflows** is on

With the support connection, Jamie acts as the shared DealCloud API user, not as you. So everyone sees the same DealCloud data.

## Set up for the workspace (admins only)

Needs the Team or Enterprise plan. Only [workspace workflows](https://docs.meetjamie.ai/agent/workflows.md#workspace-workflows) use this connection. Until you make it, workspace workflows use the support connection, if there is one.

**1. In DealCloud**

1. Create an API user for Jamie. Its user group needs API access. See [DealCloud's guide to API keys](https://api.docs.dealcloud.com/docs/apikeys)
2. On the API user's API key page, copy the site URL, client ID, and API key

**2. In Jamie**

1. Open [**Settings → Agent → Connectors**](https://app.meetjamie.ai/settings/agent#connectors) and select **DealCloud**
2. Under **Workspace connection**, click **Add service account key**. If Jamie support already connected DealCloud, the button reads **Use your own service account**
3. Fill in **DealCloud site URL**, **DealCloud client id**, and **DealCloud API key**
4. Click **Save DealCloud key**

The workspace connection replaces the support connection for workspace workflows only. Chats keep using the support connection. Workspace workflows act as this API user, not as the person whose meeting it is.

## What Jamie can do

Jamie can:

* Find companies, contacts, and deals, and read their fields, including your site's own custom fields
* Log a meeting as a new interaction, with the notes, date, internal attendees, and linked companies, contacts, and deals
* Add to the notes of an existing interaction without losing what's already there

Jamie can do more than this list. It can't delete anything in DealCloud.

Try asking: *"Log this meeting as an interaction in DealCloud and link it to Acme"*

## Disconnect

* **Your own chats.** There's nothing to disconnect. You can still stop Jamie from using DealCloud in your chats. Open **DealCloud** in [**Settings → Agent → Connectors**](https://app.meetjamie.ai/settings/agent#connectors) and turn off **Enabled in chats and workflows**.
* **The workspace connection.** Under **Workspace connection**, click **Disconnect**. Workspace workflows then use the support connection, if there is one. If there isn't, workspace workflows pause. They start again when a workspace admin connects DealCloud again.
* **The support connection.** You can't disconnect it in Jamie. Contact [support@meetjamie.ai](mailto:support@meetjamie.ai).
