# Linear

> Let Jamie create issues, search projects, and comment on issues in Linear

## Set up for yourself

Works on all plans. Your own connection works in Ask Jamie, Sidekick, briefings, and your own workflows.

**1. In Linear**

Nothing to prepare. You sign in with your own Linear login.

**2. In Jamie**

1. Open [**Settings → Agent → Connectors**](https://app.meetjamie.ai/settings/agent#connectors)
2. Find **Linear** and click **Connect**
3. In the popup, sign in to Linear and approve access
4. Back in Jamie, open **Linear**
5. Check that it shows **Connected and working**
6. Check that **Enabled in chats and workflows** is on

Jamie can reach what you approve when you sign in. It never reaches more than your Linear account can see.

## Set up for the workspace (admins only)

You can't connect Linear for the workspace, so workspace workflows can't use it.

## What Jamie can do

Jamie can:

* Search issues and projects, and read an issue's details and comments
* Create issues, such as one for each action item from a meeting
* Comment on issues and update them, such as changing the status or the assignee

Jamie can do more than this list. Linear provides these features, so they can change when Linear updates them.

Try asking: *"Create a Linear issue for each engineering action item from this meeting"*

## Disconnect

* **Your own connection.** Open **Linear** in [**Settings → Agent → Connectors**](https://app.meetjamie.ai/settings/agent#connectors) and click **Disconnect Linear**.

To keep the connection but stop Jamie from using Linear for now, turn off **Enabled in chats and workflows** instead.
