Single sign-on (SSO) allows you to manage user authentication through your organization’s identity provider, ensuring secure and centralized access control for your team.

Supported providers

Jamie currently supports SSO with:
  • Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
  • Google Workspace
We’re actively working on adding support for additional providers, SAML, and SCIM provisioning.

Setting up SSO

To enable SSO for your workspace:
  1. Contact your account manager at Jamie
  2. Provide the following information:
    • Your SSO provider (Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace)
    • A list of email domains to associate with your workspace (e.g., example.com, subsidiary.example.com)
Once configured, all users logging in with one of your specified domains will be required to authenticate through your SSO provider.

Microsoft Entra ID configuration

When using Microsoft Entra ID, you may need to grant consent for the Jamie application in your Entra ID admin portal, depending on your organization’s settings.
Before you can see Jamie in one of these lists, you need to make an attempt to log in with Microsoft at app.meetjamie.ai/login

If you have a self-hosted workspace or customised setup, you might need to give additional permissions to Jamie.

Required permissions

To use Microsoft SSO, you need to provide the following permissions.
PermissionWhat it doesWhy Jamie needs it
openidStandard sign-in authenticationRequired to securely sign you in
profileAccess your name and basic profileShows your name in Jamie and personalizes your experience
emailAccess your email addressIdentifies your account and enables sharing features
User.ReadRead your basic profile from MicrosoftRetrieves your account information during sign-in
As calendar connection is required for many Jamie features to work correctly, you need to also provide Outlook permissions to the Entra ID app. See this guide for more information.

Managing user access

You can control which users have access to Jamie by configuring user or group assignments within your SSO provider’s application settings. This allows you to restrict access to specific teams or departments. We’re working on adding SCIM support to make user provisioning and access management even easier.
