Connect Jamie to Affinity to create notes linked to people, companies, and opportunities, or attach your meeting notes to interactions that already exist in Affinity.
Affinity integration requires an Enterprise plan.

Setup

Affinity connects with a workspace-wide API key. A workspace admin sets it up once for the whole team.
  1. In Affinity, go to Settings → Manage Apps (under Developer Tools)
  2. Click New App and create an API key for Jamie
  3. In Jamie, go to Settings → Integrations → Affinity
  4. Paste the API key and click Connect
  5. Once verified, your workspace will show the connection as active
Generating an API key requires the “Generate an API key” permission in Affinity, which is controlled by your Affinity admin. API access is also only available on select Affinity license types.
The API key is shared at the workspace level, so every member can send meetings to Affinity once an admin has connected it. Only admins can connect or disconnect the integration.

Sending Meetings to Affinity

  1. Open a meeting in Jamie
  2. Click the Share button and navigate to Integrations
  3. Select Send to Affinity
When the modal opens, Jamie automatically matches the meeting’s calendar participants (and your own email) to Affinity people, and pre-selects those people and their companies.
Rich text formatting from your meeting notes (bold text and nested lists) is preserved when sent to Affinity.

Creating a note

  1. Review the matched People and Companies, then add any Opportunities
  2. (Optional) Attach the note to an existing Affinity interaction — see below
  3. Click Create Note (or Send to Interaction if you selected one)
Jamie creates a note in Affinity with your meeting content, linked to the selected people, companies, and opportunities.
A note must be linked to at least one person, company, or opportunity — or attached to an interaction. Emails that could not be matched to an Affinity person are shown via the help icon below the fields.

Attaching to an existing interaction

In the Attach to interaction section, you can anchor your note to an interaction that already exists in Affinity (for example, one synced from your calendar).
  1. Add an external Attendee to find their Affinity interactions
  2. Search for and select an Interaction from the dropdown
Jamie surfaces interactions linked to the selected attendees and tries to smart-match by meeting title. When you send, your note is anchored to the chosen interaction.

Updating a note

If you’ve already sent this meeting to Affinity, the button reads Update Note. Sending again updates the existing note in place — with your latest meeting content and the currently selected people, companies, and opportunities — instead of creating a duplicate.
When updating, the interaction attachment is hidden because a note’s interaction link cannot be changed after it is created.

Settings

Once connected, each member can configure what content to include when sending:
At least one option must be enabled.
