What are briefings

A briefing is a short page that Jamie prepares before each meeting on your calendar. It shows what you discussed last time, who attends, and which tasks are still open, so you start the meeting prepared.
Briefings need a connected calendar. Jamie prepares briefings only for meetings on your calendar. Connect Google Calendar, Outlook, or Exchange Server first.

2

Turn on briefings

Open Settings → Briefings and turn on Enable briefings.
3

Choose which meetings get a briefing

Under Coverage, choose:
Jamie skips events that aren’t really meetings, such as lunch or focus time, and events without attendees. It needs some recent meeting history before it can prepare useful briefings.

Open a briefing

Click an upcoming meeting in your meetings list to open its briefing. Next to it, you see the People attending and the Sources Jamie used. The briefing is also a chat. Ask a follow-up question below it, for example “What did they push back on last time?”
  • Not there yet? Preparing your briefing means Jamie is still working on it. If there’s no briefing, click Generate now.
  • Something off? Open the … menu and choose Give feedback, or Configure to change your briefing settings.
In the Jamie desktop app, Sidekick shows the briefing for the meeting you’re recording.
