For yourself or for the workspace
The two are separate. Connecting a tool for the workspace doesn’t connect it for you, and connecting it for yourself doesn’t connect it for the workspace. Members can’t use the workspace connection in their own chats.
For the workspace, create an account in the tool only for Jamie, not a person’s own login. Some tools call it a service account or an integration user. Give it access only to what workflows need, such as the projects or SharePoint sites that workflows file into.
Sign in to the tool
Most tools connect with a sign-in. Jamie opens a popup where you sign in to the tool and approve access.- For yourself
- For the workspace
In Jamie
- Open Settings → Agent → Connectors
- Find the tool and click Connect
- In the popup, sign in to the tool and approve access
If your browser blocks the popup, allow popups for app.meetjamie.ai and try again.
Paste a key
Some tools connect with a key: a code that you create in the tool. Tools use different names for it, such as API key, API token, or access token. The tool’s page says where to create it.- For yourself
- For the workspace
In Jamie
- Open Settings → Agent → Connectors
- Find the tool and click Connect
- Paste the key under API key and click Connect
Connected by Jamie support
For some tools, such as DealCloud, Jamie support configures the connection for your workspace. The workspace connection then reads “configured by Jamie support”. A workspace admin can click Use your own service account to make workspace workflows use a key that your team manages. Everyone’s chats keep using the connection that Jamie support configured.Where to connect
You can connect a tool from these places:- Settings → Agent → Connectors, the full list of connectors
- Connectors under the Ask Jamie message box, then Browse connectors or Manage connectors
- Connectors at the top of the Workflows page
- The workflow chat. Jamie offers to connect a tool there when a workflow needs one that isn’t connected
