Workspace admins decide:
  • Which tools the workspace connects
  • Which workflows run on everyone’s meetings
  • Who can use Ask Jamie and the tools behind it

Tools connected for the workspace

The workspace connection is one connection that a workspace admin makes for the whole workspace. It is separate from each member’s own connection.
  • Only workspace admins can connect, replace, or disconnect a workspace connection.
  • Only workspace workflows use the workspace connection.
  • Members can’t use the workspace connection in their own chats or workflows. For those, members use their own connection.
Sometimes a workspace workflow needs a tool that has no workspace connection. Then members see that they need to ask a workspace admin. See Ways to connect.

Access to tools

In Settings → Permissions → Integration access, you choose who can use each tool listed there:
  • Everyone
  • Admins only
  • Specific people
  • No one
When a member loses access to a tool, they no longer see it in Jamie. Their existing connections pause until they get access again. See Workspace permissions for how the modes work. Some connectors also depend on your plan. For example, the Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and Asana connectors need the Pro plan or higher. Each connector’s page lists its plan.
