Set up for yourself

Works on all plans. Your own connection works in Ask Jamie, Sidekick, briefings, and your own workflows. Jamie signs in with an Ezekia API token.

In Ezekia

  1. Ask an Ezekia administrator to create an API token for you under Settings → Integrations → API Tokens
  2. Copy the token

In Jamie

  1. Open Settings → Agent → Connectors
  2. Find Ezekia and click Connect
  3. Paste the token into API key and click Connect. Jamie tests the token with a check that changes nothing in Ezekia
To test or change the token later, open Ezekia and click Manage key.
Jamie sees only what the token’s permission group can see. Each token belongs to an API user in Ezekia. Every note and status change that Jamie makes shows the name of that API user.

Set up for the workspace (admins only)

Needs the Team or Enterprise plan. Only workspace workflows use this connection. Jamie signs in as an Ezekia API user that your team creates only for Jamie.

In Ezekia

  1. Ask an Ezekia administrator to create an API user for Jamie under Settings → Integrations → API Tokens. Don’t use your own token
  2. Give the API user a permission group that covers people, companies, projects, and notes
  3. Copy the API user’s token right away. Ezekia shows the token only once

In Jamie

  1. Open Settings → Agent → Connectors and select Ezekia
  2. Under Workspace connection, click Add service account key
  3. Paste the token into Ezekia API token and click Save Ezekia key
Workspace workflows act as the API user, not as the person whose meeting it is. So Jamie puts the meeting owner’s name in the notes it adds.

What Jamie can do

Jamie can:
  • Find candidates and client contacts by name or email, and read their positions, projects, and custom fields
  • Log a meeting as a note on a person, with the summary and next steps
  • Add a candidate to a search project and set their status, such as interviewed or shortlisted
Jamie can do more than this list. It can’t delete anything in Ezekia. Try asking: “Log this interview as a note on Jane Doe in Ezekia”

Disconnect

  • Your own connection. Open Ezekia in Settings → Agent → Connectors. Click Manage key, and then click Disconnect.
  • The workspace connection. Under Workspace connection, click Disconnect. Workspace workflows that use Ezekia pause. They start again when a workspace admin connects Ezekia again.
